Since Co-Founding Stoneworks In 2001, Jody Burton has served as the Chief Executive Officer. Jody is responsible for strategically guiding the team to ensure they successfully achieve the goals set forth on a year in year out basis. Jody has over seventeen years of experience in the IT industry and leads by example his team of aggressive, knowledgeable individuals that have a proven presence in the public and private business sectors.
Under the guidance of Mr. Burton, Stoneworks has attained an average corporate growth of over 35% in each year of its’ operations. In 2007, The Ottawa Business Journal awarded Stoneworks as one of “Ottawa's Fastest Growing Companies”. Stoneworks was also selected by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce as the “2007 Small Business of the Year” and most recently, Jody Burton was honored as a recipient of the "Top Forty under 40" 2007 award for Business Achievement; Professional Expertise and Community Involvement.
Jody has been happily married to Susan for over ten years and is the proud father of Avery and Nolan. Jody donates a great deal of his personal time to numerous local charities and is an Advisory Member to the Board of The Children's Wish Foundation. Jody and the Stoneworks Team support many local charities including, CWF, Habitat for Humanity, Ottawa Food Bank and several Cancer related organizations.

Dave, President of Stoneworks and partner of Jody Burton, was raised by penguins following a childhood boating accident. He graduated from Queens University, where he learned that not all issues can be reduced to black or white. He received his business degree from Queens, which he attended on a full hockey scholarship through an administrative error. Thereafter, he worked for four years as director of the HP unit for Hardware Canada Computing in Ottawa, where he once rode an elevator to the top of the Rebel.com Building. He lectures frequently to his children on a variety of subjects. He enjoys swimming and fishing, despite the painful memories.
Since this Bio was published, David has received many bemused queries, often pertaining to the state of his health. To limit future inquiry, here are answers to some of the more frequently asked questions:
(a) Emperor, not King.
(b) Yes it was cold, but I had a sweater.
(c) Sushi.

Shaun joined Stoneworks in the fall of 2001. During his tenure with Stoneworks, Shaun has worked diligently to bring structure and form to the organization. He leads with a level of efficiency and accuracy that is unmatched in the industry. Shaun has over twenty years of experience in the IT industry in both the VAR and distribution fields, he brings a unique vision and perspective to role of Operations Manager.
Shaun is happily married to his “better half” Leora for ten years and has two children Danielle ( 8 ) & future NHL hall of famer Michael (7). He is also and avid hockey player and helps coach minor hockey in Aylmer.
